Why you don't already have everything that you want:

Let's start with what you want and why you want it.
There are things that we think we want & there's the stuff that you actually truly want. That's the first thing you've got to figure out:
Do you really want the things that you think you want?
Or is it stuff that society, your family, friends, media makes you think you want because you see other people have them. Or is it stuff that truly, you actually desire.
How do you know the difference?
You have to be in tune with yourself. You have to take the time to tune out of the rest of the world & sit with yourself and really think about and discover what it is that you actually want.
What you're really searching for is a feeling, an emotion, the way that having that thing is going to make you feel. That's what you're actually searching for.
So sometimes we think certain objects, things, places are gonna give us a feeling.
And maybe we're right, maybe we're wrong. It really depends on like the thing. But what you actually want is a feeling.
You want how that thing is going to make you feel, how that person is going to make you feel, how that place is going to make you feel, whatever it is.
You actually can right now decide to already feel that way, today.
You can just make the decision.
If you think this is going to make you feel safe, what can you do with what you already have right now to feel more safe?
If you think it's going to make you feel beautiful, what can you do with what you already have to make yourself feel more beautiful?
Whatever it is, you already have something available to you right now in this moment to get closer to that feeling, to create that feeling for yourself.
You really just need to turn off the podcasts, turn off YouTube, turn off social media, log out of Substack, turn off the TV, tune out your friends. tune out your family. Sit with yourself, literally just practice yoga is my solution for you.
If you want to know what you actually want take the time to practice yoga and take the time to do it on your own. I really, really believe it's important to have a private personal practice because it's a meditation.
When you allow yourself to sit alone with your body in a place where you feel safe and comfortable, you can listen to yourself and your body and move in ways that you need to move in, whether or not it's a legit, written out, cued up yoga pose.
Maybe your body just needs a little wiggle and a little shake and maybe you need to move your hip in a specific way to make it feel good.
No yoga teacher can tell you how to move your body. I mean, I love studying yoga. I love yoga teachers. I love going to yoga classes. I love learning new ways to move my body,to learn ways to move my body deeper and to improve on Yoga poses. Like that's fun. That's cool. I like connecting with people in a class setting. I like practicing with people,
but there's no substitution for practicing with yourself, for finding that time to be alone and practice Yoga.
Yoga is a path to enlightenment & enlightenment is feeling bliss, like you're totally okay in everyway. It's contentment. Total, total contentment, an acceptance of everything.
And the way to get there is by not thinking about anything at all & just being. You already are everything. You already are goddess. You are god. You are the universe.
We are all the same thing. There's just one, there's one. We we are all one.
You already have all the answers to any question you could ever ask because you already are everything.
You're in everything.
You're connected to everything.
You already know what's up. And you have the ability through your personal yoga practice to connect to that part of yourself that's living in you.
The energy that runs your being is pulled up from the earth, through your chakras, out your crown (the top of your head) & at the same time it's being pulled down from the universe, into the crown of your head, down through your chakras, and into Earth.
Those two currents, the current of manifestation and the current of liberation, are continuously moving. That energy is always flowing through you.
Have you ever seen that episode of Avatar The Last Airbender when he learns about the chakras from a guru? He explains it to him that they're like these pools of water.
He shows that when there's rocks and leaves and sticks and stuff, they create a block. The water doesn't flow between the pools, like when energy is stuck within you and blocks the flow of your chakras.
We experience life or we are handed these blocks by inheriting them through our DNA, but also through generational trauma from our parents & ancestors, through past lives and just through experiencing life.
First-hand experiences that you have (the happen to things that happen to you), things that happen to your friends and family that you hear about, even things that happen on the news or on social media, something that you probably never would have ever heard about a couple hundred years ago.
Now we were always hearing everything that happens in the world all the time and that literally is traumatic for us. It brings your chakras out of harmony and it disregulates you.
When the energy isn't moving in harmony, in and out of you, flowing through you, you feel disconnected from that source energy, from that feeling of enlightment, from all of the answers in the world.
And also you feel disconnected from earth and all life on her.
